C95500 Nickel Aluminium Bronze
C95500 Nickel Aluminum Bronze – a tough, corrosion-resistant alloy with superior strength and wear properties, ideal for marine, aerospace, and heavy-duty applications.
C95500 Nickel Aluminium Bronze
C95500 bronze is a bronze formulated for casting. C95500 is the UNS number for this material. Additionally, the common industry name is Aluminum Bronze D. Older literature may refer to this material as ASTM Alloy 9D, but this is now discouraged.
It has a very high heat capacity among cast bronzes. In addition, it has a very high melting temperature and can have a fairly high tensile strength.
The properties of C95500 bronze include two common variations. This page shows summary ranges across both of them. For more specific values, follow the links immediately below. The graph bars on the material properties cards further below compare C95500 bronze to: cast bronzes (top), all copper alloys (middle), and the entire database (bottom). A full bar means this is the highest value in the relevant set. A half-full bar means it’s 50% of the highest, and so on.
