1.4462 Duplex
1.4462 Duplex – a corrosion-resistant duplex stainless steel combining high strength and excellent resistance to pitting, stress corrosion, and fatigue in harsh environments.
1.4462 Duplex
Duplex stainless steel (1.4462 or 4462 stainless steel) is an extremely corrosion-resistant stainless steel grade. These stainless steels with a quality of 4462 exhibit a higher resistance to rust than 304 and 316 quality materials and are chemically both austenitic and ferritic stainless steel. They are harder than stainless steel stainless steel and they are twice as resistant to austenitic materials.
